Eventually I moved back to Birmingham and got into making music
with my computer. This opened things up and allowed me to write
my own music without the need for other musicians. Allthough I was
based in Birmingham I spent alot of my time going to Festivals all
around the UK and meeting meeting more musicians and club promoters.
Through this I met up with Birmingham label Different Drummer (www.diffdrum.co.uk)and
Rockers Hi-Fi who I eventually travelled around Europe on their
Mish Mash tour. After returning from the tour I moved house and
started writing the still unfinished Serial Chiller album.
To make ends meet I spent time building computers and helping set
up studios for people including Bentley Rhythm Ace (www.bentleyrhythmace.com).
I met Bentley Rhythm Ace when they came home from a world tour to
record their second album. During this time I helped them create
the FSUK album for Ministry Of Sound and helped out with the creation
of their "For Your Ears Only" album.
When Im not working I spend my time writing and performing in my
new band yootclub (www.yootclub.com)
where I play guitar and add live samples and FX. yootclub have now
taken over Bentley Rhythm Ace's studio where we are recording our
first album. We have appeared on tv and continue to play to ever
growing audiences.
As far as Serial Chiller goes I've kinda left it on the back burner
for a while. Its just a matter of not having time to do everything
I would like to. When I get the chance I intend to get the tracks
finished off (allthough Ill probably end up writing new ones and
not finishing them either) and get the album released.
If I had been born twins then maybe I would stand a chance of getting
it all done.
If you listen to the tracks be sure to let me know what you think
by signing the guestbook.
Cheers
Shan
